Was your Alexander Scott from the Savannah River area of GA? I have two of the same name, father and son. The son came from Edgefield District of SC. Can you give a brief summary.

I am looking for a Scott family, one of which was born in Abbeville, SC. Does the following family look familar?
Samuel Scott had a son Robert Scott.
Robert Scott had a son Patric Scott.
Patric Scott and Carolyn Elizabeth Wilson's children are: James, Benjamin, Ann, Isabelle, Mary, Dollie, Eliza and Patric Scott Jr.
James Scott and Margaret McConnalty / McConehey's(d. 1822 SC) children are: Samuel, Martha, Sarah Ann, Patric Milton, Thomas, Ruth and Margaret Isabelle Scott (b. October 29, 1820 in Abbyville South Carolina).
Margaret Isabelle Scott married William Alexander Brewer (b. 1818 Arkansas) in 1841.

Samuel and Robert could be father and son or siblings. Did your ALexander have siblings or cousins named Samuel or Robert?
