We're looking for information on the Seminole heritage of the Hudson Family. I believe they are from Missouri. Or in the mid western region.

I would be very interested in what you learn. Several of my Hudsons were in Florida in the very early settlement period -1827 to 1850. so a Seminole connection would make sense.

Tina TWIMC, I have a pedigree chart that shows a Burrell Hudson married to a atience Crane about 1790 in Georgia, It shows her indian name to be White Crane. her father is reported to be a Jonh Crane, a revolutionary War solider. I don't hav e the DOBs but Burrell died Oct, 19 1819 and Patience died Oct 12, 1840. My records show only one child a Dickson Hudson, B:Oct 10, 1814, White County, TN, D: Jan 20, 1867, Buried: Madison County, AR. Married Feb. 29, 1832 to Margaret Katherine(Peggy) Jay B: Sept 18, 1812, D: Oct 29, 1879, Madison county, AR. I have some additional information, but would like as much more as possible. email me @ craigdporter@juno.com. (by the way we were always told she was Cherokee but who can be sure?

I thought Amanda America was a unique name until I saw it in your message. My Amanda America Hawkins was born 26 Nov 1867 in Rockport Indiana to Reuben Hawkins and his wife Margaret?? Manda married Ambrose Everett Long whose mother was Mary Ann Longcor which is what brought me to your message. Do you think there is a connection?

Michelle,
At this point, anything is possible, there were a lot of Longcore kids. I'll try to look through my stuff this week and if I find any of your names, I'll be sure and let you know. My line of Longcore's came from NJ to OH to IL.
