Looking for long lost Carroll cousins who have had their DNA done through ancestry.com. BoehmeBones and/or BoehmeFamily would show up as match(es). If we’re a match, let one of us know, and we’ll figure out just how we’re related!!!

Your tree is private and you haven't indicated what your Carroll line is.

How are you expecting another user to know whether the common ancestor is with Carroll or any other surname?

I am a Carroll from S.C. I had my DNA done through Ancestry. I would be happy to connect with other Carroll family member.
Maybe some Carroll will match.

Surnames: Carroll, Smith, Ringer
Our Carroll ancestor is one of our 2grGMothers. Her name is Juliann or Julia Ann. She was born somewhere between 1818 & 1827 in Pennsylvania or Virginia. She married Jehu SMITH (b. 13 Mar 1813, in Virginia; d. ca. Jan 1896, in Preston County, WV. Children: Elizabeth Russell (m. Preston Ringer), Catharine Holmes (m. Matthais Browning Smith; our grGPs); Susan, Rebecca, Mathilde D, Emma C, Mary, and an unknown female.

That's all we know about Juliann! Nothing about her parents or siblings, where she died, or where she is buried.

Hi Barbara - As I have over 43K matches on ancestryDNA, it's possible that I have missed seeing you as a match. If you come across Boehme Bones or Boehme Family (Michael or Krystine Boehme, respectively) as a match, then we are likely related through our Carroll line. Will keep my eye out on both of our matches! K-

My ancestry subscription is on hiatus, due to large project this spring, summer and early fall and then a trip to Australia in Oct-Nov. Without an active subscription, I have no access to your tree. But, if you are so inclined, you can give me (or anyone with an ancestry Username) access as follows:
-Go to your tree
-Click on down arrow on name of tree (upper left corner)
-Choose “Sharing”
-Choose “Invite people”
-Choose from the following:
-“Email” (enter e-dress, then choose role [see below])
-“Username” (enter Username, then choose role [see below]) (Note: doesn’t seem to work reliably to give access to Boehme Family [me] or BoehmeBones [my brother])
-“Shareable Link” (Checkbox gives you ability to choose access to living people)
-Choose “Role”
-“Guest” (view and print this family tree, as well as historical records, photos, and stories associated with people in the tree… Unless subscription is current, you can’t see images unless added as image rather than a link.)
-“Contributor” (above plus add people, sources, etc)
-“Editor” (above plus delete people)
- Finish as directed

Whatever role feels comfortable is fine with me, as is no access (but won't be able to see until end of year or beginning 2020.) Looking forward to collaborating if we can find the connection! KBo
