I need help discerning where Henry Keller was born in Germany. On Familysearch, it lists two different places, Weyerbach & Naumburg. I'd like to know which one, if either, is his true birthplace. He lived in Haycock but is buried in the Keller Union Cemetery in Perkasie. Birthdate is 9 Jan 1708, parents Wilhelm & Gertraut (Flohri?) Keller. He has a legible tombstone which can be viewed on findagrave.com. I believe he helped establish Keller's Church, today known as St Matthew Lutheran Church. Anything on his birthplace will be very much appreciated. If anyone is descended from him or has genealogical info on him, please respond. I'm a direct descendent & need help. Have a great day!

Hi,

This is going to take digging deeper and you probably won't find the answer online.

Henry Keller
Military Service: 14 Oct 1781, Haycock, Bucks, PA
Military Regiment: Captain Manus Yosts Company
Source: U. S. Rosters of the Revolutionary War Soldiers and Sailors 1775-1783

i've heard that treasures are sometimes found in military records. You can order his from the U. S. Archives, archives.gov.

The David Library of the American Revolution, www.dlar.org is located in Bucks County and is devoted to American history circa 1750-1800.

Another possible resource is the Haycock Historical Society, www.haycockhistoricalsociety.org/.

Look for his initial request for citizenship. That will contain where he was born, parents, etc.

Another clue is on his www.findagrave.com/ memorial which states his first name was Henrich. Successful Searching!
