I have a GGGGgreat Uncle named William Cox who died in who died 30 Apr 1811. He was a quaker. Does anyone know if there is a book that has a list of cemetery records so that I might find where he is buried? I was told that a lot of them in Philadelphia were paved over.

Also, can someone explain what is meant from this:

From the Philadelphia Monthly Meeting:
1803,12,30. Wm. & w. Ruth, gct ND MM
1806, 9,26. Wm. & w. Ruth, rocf ND MM, dated 1806,9,23

Thanks

Jeff

gct ND MM - granted certificate to North District MM, Philadelphia, PA
rocf ND MM- received on certificate from North District MM, Philadelphia, PA
Apparently they transferred from Philadelphia MM to another MM in the North District of Philadelphia in 1803, then back to Philadelphia MM in 1806.

Thanks. Does MM stand for Meeting House?

MM is Monthly Meeting.
MH is Meeting House
I see on the Philadelphia gen web site there are will records for William and Ruth Cox. No mention in the will where they are buried though.
