My Horan's hail from Broadford, County Clare. Michael Horan and Mary Kinnerk Horan emigrated from County Clare to NY in 1863, with their 8 children. Any links?

A relative in my clan: Mary Ellen Kinnerk born in County Clare in 1863. She immigrated to the US on July 13, 1863. According to research my aunt did years ago she married Thomas O'Connell in Greencastle IN. Not quite what your looking for but the name Kinnerk (which is not very common)and the dates are the same.

Surnames: STAUNTON/HORAN/CORLEY
My ancestor CATHERINE [KITTY] HORAN married MICHAEL STAUNTON in about 1840 @ BREAFFY/KILKENNY CO. MAYO.
They had at least the following children:

MYLES STUNTON - 4/23/1842
MICHAEL STAUNTON - 7/14/1845
BRIDGET STAUNTON - 6/26/1854

Can you make any connections?

By the way, I was at Lordes at Easter this year and saw a wonderful Celtic Cross Monument there for the famous Monsignor JAMES HORAN who died therre while on pilgramage.

I've only just started looking into my family history, but I do know that my G.G.Grandfather was from Mayo (probably born around 1850). I believe my Great Grandfather Michael Horan was born in Bury, Lancashire, and was one of 9 children - Annie, Susan, John James, Mary Ellen, Elizabeth, William, Alice, Michael and Thomas.

Ring any bells?
