Anna Dorothea Loise Pahmeyer was born ca December 1730 (calculated from age at death). She married in Oerlinghausen, Lippe Detmold, 18 Nov 1755 Johann Christoph Lueking geb. Hachmeister, who was born at Heepen (near Bielefeld; Amt Sparenberg?)Westfalen ca 1718. His first wife was a widow Lueking and he assumed her surname. I need parents and birthplace for Anna Dorothea Loise Pahmeyer/Pahmeier etc.

Lüdenscheid is a long way from Lippe-Detmold, so possibility of a connection is remote but possible, of course. My Anna Catharina Altrogge was born about August 1663 (calculated from death age); she first married a Meiße, then Johann Friedrich Bekker, my ancestor, at Schötmar, Lippe Detmold 18 November 1707. Thanks for reading my surname posting!

Maria Catharina ALTROGGE married Peter Wilhelm GLÖRFELD in Lüdenscheid, Nordrhein-Westfalia in 1784. A daughter, Anna Catharina GLÖRFELD b. 28 Jan 1786, d. 8 Dec 1869, married Hermann Dietrich SECKELMANN, 13 Dec 1805 in Lüdenscheid.

Hermann Dietrich was my 3Xgr-grandfather. Does this information fit your family? I have a few other ALTROGGE people from Lüdenscheid if there is any connection.
There is a message posted on the SECKELMANN people on this board.

Thanks.........Marion

Did he come in spring 1868 or near that time? There is a Heinrich Altrogge from Nalhof who came with wife and 2 children in the Lippe emigration index. I'm not familiar with Nalhof. It must be a tiny village. You can probably find it, find which parish it belongs to, by looking at the Lippe Website (it is in German but the terms are translated and it's no trouble to wade through):
http://www2.genealogy.net/gene/reg/NRHE-WFA/lippe.html#Gener...

After you've found which parish it belongs to you can order church records on film from the LDS. They have filmed all of Lippe.

I'm researching Bekkers/Beckers from the Schnathorst area and haven't gotten back quite as far as this, but do you have any descendants of Johann Friedrich Bekker who might tie into my family and help me put some of my older (18th Century) Beckers into the right families? My GGGGrandfather was Heinrich Hermann Bekker/Becker from Holsen, born 8 Jul 1781. His father was (I believe) Johann Albrecht, b. 1860. Do you have anything on these people?
