I am researching the Wambach family, and have inserted a short descendant outline for Descendants of Nicholaus Wambach

1 Nicholaus Wambach b: March 26, 1826 in Luxembourg, Germany d: May 10, 1884 in Clay County, Minnesota
.. +Katherine Lietsen b: January 23, 1832 in Germany d: March 05, 1914 in Clay County, Minnesota

2 Xavier Wambach b: 1859 in Neustadt, Ontario, Canada d: 1940 in Georgetown, Minnesota
.... +Barbara Diemert b: 1865 in Mildmay, Ontario, Canada d: 1946 in Clay County, Minnesota

2 (Mrs John A Fischer) Wambach b: June 09, 1867 in Neustadt, Ontario, Canada d: in Georgetown, Clay County, Minnesota
.... +John A Fischer b: Abt. 1867 m: November 19, 1889 in Georgetown, Clay County, Minnesota

One of the Wambachs married a John A Fischer from Georgetown, Clay County,MN. I have a very interesting article about Mrs Fischer that was in a Moorhead, MN paper, under "Introducing Old Timers". Anyway, the article had Mrs Fischer's birth and marriage dates, but not her first name. And it listed her brother Xavier Wambach, and her family: Mrs Philma Parries; Mrs Kathryn Riggs; Mrs Vern Barclay; Mrs Gertrude Brettenham; and George Fischer of Georgetown.

Perhaps one of you who read this can provide me with Mrs Fischer's first name and date of her death, and a link to other family members. Denis

I don't know if you have had any replies or even check this anymore. It has been several years. Mrs. Fischers first name is Margaret and she died Sept 10th 1946.

Dennis - I think I have changed information with you in the past. John Adam and Margaret (Wambach) Fischer were my great grandparents. My tree is public on ancestry.com. kathy kukowski richards-2012. Would you be willing to share your article about Maggie? I would love to see what information it has. I have a photo of John and Maggie on my tree. You are welcome to use whatever you need from my tree since I have also been researching the Wambach family.
