Looking for any info on John And Amelia Dobyns or Dobbins in Spotsylvania Co. Va. I believe Amelia died in the 1890's but I cant find anything on John...moved dead etc. He had a son named George H. Dobbins, my great grandfather. Anything will help. Thank you

I am confused. I look at your tree:

and you have a 1905 year of death for John Dobyns who is married to an Amelia Chewning. It looks like you do not have a date of death for Amelia.

Do you have more than one John Dobyn and Amelia? If so I would post a link to their page in your tree so responders to your post do not redo the work you have already done.

I can't connect ny great grand father George to John and Amelia. My boyfriend who has been doing this fir 27yrs said I nay have made a mistake. I will be in Spotsylvania the 3rd week of april to do some research. There is also a name change Dobyns or Dobbins which is my spelling
