I cannot supply you with an obituary, but I can tell you that his death certificate has that his parents were Allen Mcglothen and Amanda Finnely. It gives his birth as 3 Oct 1922 and his death as 12 Sept 1959. He is buried in Riverview Cemetery in Baylor County.

He was married to Lessie Lucille Carrington and they had a son Jessie Rudolph Mcglothen, II. He was born in Baylor County in 1943.

Jessie, II, marrie Joyce Marie Burleson. They had two children, Deona Lynn and Teresa.

I was hoping that Jessie's obit might give me some info about his father, Allen. Allen was the brother of my great-great grandmother, Lamenda, and I know very little about Allen. I would like to know when and where he died and where he is buried.

Thanks,
Gina

I'd search Red River and/or Lamar County. His older brother, William Green, is on SSDI: 14 Feb 1913 - 15 May 1988 with last benefits paid to an address in Paris, Lamar County. Sisters: Mattie Lee Hulse (7 Feb 1911 - 31 Dec 1974) and Allie Moore (26 Apr 1904 - 12 Feb 1968) both died in Paris and Allie was buried in Woodland Cemetery of Red River County. William Green listed as the father of four daughters in Lamar County. Perhaps one of his descendants is aware of the burial location of Allen and Amanda?
