I did some research to Gerritsen in Gelderland (surroundings of Arnhem). What information are you looking for? And what do you already have?

Hello Ria,

It's nice to receive a reaction. Yesterday, I search in my own database for the surnames 'De Brui(j)n, Bebberse, Van Garderen'. But, I don't find names, which you mentioned in your request.
Maybe a hint:
In the Netherlands, the old documents in according to birth, marriage and death of persons were placed in the Archive of each department ('provincie'). In a project, which will ended in 2002, all this records will placed in a database. The first part of the database is available. For the department of Utrecht for many towns, it is also available. I know within the department of Utrecht, Woudenberg, there are many people with the surname 'De Bruin'.

I give you a internet-address.

You come on a Dutch-web-site; you chose the next option:

Genealogie

Genlias

'Met de komst van deze database begint GenLias .

On this link you find the database.
I hope you have succes.

Let me know if you received the mail with the Word-document. In this document persons with surname as De Bruijn, Bebbers etc. were mentioned.

Regards,
Teunis
