I am searching for the correct birth record of my sister, she was born in Tyler County or Tyler (Smith Co.) Texas. She was supposedly born Jan. 1, 1947, however, she was likely born a few days before or after that date. The surname is not known so the only names I can give you is her given name and mother's maiden name. Baby: Ruth Darlene,
Mother: Phema Louise (Russell). Thank you very much for any help you may be able to give me. Please email me directly.

Surnames: Tarver / Oliver
Hi, Thanks for the generous offer, I am searching the Sterling Tarver Line, looking for his father perhaps James Tarver . They were in Woodville, Also the Alfred S. Oliver line , his daughter Eveline Oliver married J.H. Tarver, before 1858 in Woodville, I can find them on the 1860 Tyler county census. He was killed in the Civil War. She remarried H.K (?) Gibbs about 1878 but I have lost her.
Alfred Oliver married Elizabeth Parsons about 1843 /8 . in Tyler County, but Elizabeth is not Evelines mother as Eveline was born 1834-40 in Florida.
Any help would be appreceiated.
Thanks.

I find on 1900 Census, Tyler county, J.D. COLLINS family. They are a railroad working family, living in Pct. 2 east of the T.N.O.R.R. However I do not find them after that year. Any suggestions?

They had 2 daughter listed Willie age 8 and Floy age 7.
Willie Mae married a Mr. unknown SPIVEY, whom I think worked with the railroad also.

I would love to know if they married in Tyler county. Would have been maybe (?)between 1906-1908 time frame. They had a daughter Mollie Floy Spivey born about 1909.

Then Willie married Addie L. Phillips. Would like to know if they married in Tyler county also? Sometimes around 1910?

Thank you for any help you may be able to offer.

My grandfather's grandparents were named George and Fronie Freeman. Where is Franks Branch Cemetery located? I don't have alot of info. But George was born around 1858 in Georgia. Not sure if we are looking for the same George and Fronie but it's certainly worth a try!
