Thanks for your offer to send information abt. Pemberton...this is wonderful. Dr. Pemberton (in addition to an 1850 M.D. Degree) had a Graduate in Pharmacy Degree (Ph. G.) from a school in FRANCE. Perhaps your information will help document this foreign degree. 1270 Forrest Ellis Road, Douglasville, Georgia 30134 (just outside Atlanta, Ga.)

Hi! I'm wondering if you have links to the Irby family. George Worsham married Sarah Irby apprx. 1729 in Henrico Co., VA. Sarah Irby was the daughter of Dr. Joshua and Elizabeth Ludson Irby.

I am looking for my g grandmother, Sarah E. Pemberton Irby who was born in IL apprx. 1856. She married William Irby in IL Jan. 29, 1875. I think her parents may have been Dr. James F. and Mary Catharine Lewis Pemberton. I am wondering if Dr. James F.'s parents weren't Joshua and Millie Pemberton. Can you help me from this side?

Many thanks, Linda

We have written in our book "GEORGE WORSHAM IV b abt 1713 Henrico Co., VA. George md Sarah Irby abt 1733 Henrico Co. Sarah b abt 1714 in Prince George Co., VA d/o Joshua Irby and Elizabeth Ludson. Joshua Irby & Elizabeth were md 28 Oct 1694 in St. John's P. E. Church in Henrico Co. in what is now Richmond. When Joshua Irby left his will, his wife is named Jane...."

"A court case was dated 1 Feb 1750 for Jane Irby vs Anthony Irby. “By consent of parties by their attorneys George Worsham is adjudged guardian to John Worsham & Joshua Worsham infants parties defendants to the bill of injunction filed in this suit by the said Anthony. Depositions were to be taken of John Irby & William Burgess, two witnesses, by John Bolling, William Kennon and Richard Eppes.”..."

I have not traced the Irby family, however, hope this helps
