Kimmons/Kimmens/Cummins/Cummings/McKimmon, 1700s

I am looking for leads on information about the Kimmons/Cummins/Cummings family in Bucks County in the 1700's. I am trying to match my Hugh and Alexander Kimmons who came to Mecklenburg County, NC by 1780s with their antecedents. A large number of Scots-Irish families from Pa settled that area of Mecklenburg, so I am hoping I might find something in this area of PA.

I have seen the following families listed:
1790 census
Robert Kimmins and two James Kimmins'

Alexander McKamon of Nockamixon, d. 1776/1777
John Cummings in Northampton
George Cumings in Warwick
Robert Kimmens who sold land in Wrightstown
Jane Cummings in Warwick

Hugh, James and John Cummins served in 1775
Robert and James Cummings in French and Indian War

Any leads would be welcome. Thanks!

I'm curious to know if you made any connections since your post with the NC Cummins and those in Bucks County PA. I'm researching my Boyd line in Bucks County in the mid 1700s and they appear to have some connection to those in Bucks along with Edams surname.

My William Boyd was born in 1753 in Plumstead Bucks County Pa and was likely the son of James Boyd. The Boyds had connections to Hugh and Gayen Edams, James McMasters, and Parker families in Northampton and Upper Makefield Townships.
