Searching for any information on Rycke Rycke, s/o Hendrick Rycken and Ytie Jacobs, bpt. 10 October 1675, New Amsterdam RDC. He married Willemtie Clement and had the following children: Pieter, Judith, Ryck, Weyntje,Johannes, Lena, Abraham, Elisabeth, Marritje, and Bennetje. The family lived on Staten Island until around 1720 or so, when they moved to Essex Co., NJ. I am looking for baptismal and marriage records of all the children, but esp. Lena. Does anyone know of a printed or online source for the records of the Port Richmond DR Church for this period?

I have the idea that my ancestors Abraham Van Lent Rycken and Griete Hermansen were both born on the Hudson River in 1615 and 1616 respectively. I have seen rumors on the internet that their baptisms were found in fort records. Now this would predate what modern historians have concluded was the first fort. But I am thinking this could have been Fort Nassau?, or which fort were they born in? Most historians believe that Fort Amsterdam was constructed much later than this. Surely there must have been some trading post set up at this time period that predated the West India Company.
