*My Gr-Grandfather was a saloon owner in SLC during this same time, he too was quite a character and I found many articles similar to the one I found for you.

Alll of this iS exactly what I was looking for! I love the newspaper articles. They certainly add some color to him.

And i had been stumped as to where Mildred went. This has helped.

Same with Anne's family.

I'm trying to trace them because I believe I'm related to their oldest son Robert who remained back in South Dakota and was adopted out after age 15.
