There was a lot of contact between my Hayley ancestors and the Hayley's of Marshall contact 1850 - 1865 and I'm quite sure the connection comes from my family of Hayleys from Greenville co Va. and Northhampton Co. N.C.

My grgrgrandfather was Hinton Perry born in Nc. but lived for awhile in Marshall Co. Miss with his spouse Hixey Allen.I have been told that her last name might have been Hopkins. They had a son named Clinton Taylor who later lived in Cabot Ar. I think Hinton's father was Burrel Perry. Will share information as i am trying to find hinton's parents.Do you know who Burrell parents were. I was told he was William Perry Jr. Thanks Juanita. E-Mail dfbjab517@aol.com

Jacob William Hayley and Geneva Perry were my Grandfather's (Easter Hayley) grandparents. This branch of the family eventually ended up in Baylor County, Texas. I have some information about them.

I see the North Carolina Fort's popping up in Census listings as cousins. I think they were cousins to the Moring's and the Sharpe's.
