Tom, I read your 8/11/03 message about the WENINGER tree. I don't know if my Weningers are from the same tree, but perhaps there is some connection. My Great-grandfather came to the US in 1847 with his father, Phillip, and two brothers, George and Henry. They had settled in Wyandot county - Salem twp - Ohio by 1850, The family is listed there in the 1850 and 1860 censues. They came from Wurtemberg, Germany. Phillip was 7 when they came and his brother, George was 12 and brother Henry was about 3.
George died in Indiana in 1923, while Phillip died there in 1924. Both of their obituaries listed Henry as a surviving brother. No-where have I been able to find further information on Henry aka Elias and Heinrich. If you have any knowledge of this Weninger line I would be extremely grateful.

I'm only putting this here as some of your given names are the same in my genealogy and I want to see if there is any link. I have an Anton J. Szuszitzky (Schuschusky) that married a Pauline Weninger. They were both from Germany (though I don't know where) and ended their lives in Minnesota. They had a son named Phillip A. who was born in Minnesota. There is probably know connection, but have to try to search every possibility.
