I am looking for anyone who can help me get in contact with the author of the following book that was published in 1984: Un Chapelier Alençonnais en Neuve France a Québecq, written by Michel-Paul Huppé de LaGroye

This book traces the ancestry of the family from 1639-1982, beginning in Alençon, France and including their journey to New France... aka: Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada.

The book is written in French and I would love to get my hands on the original photos (electronic versions would be more than sufficient). Although many members of my family are able to understand the French version, there are those who are not (my own understanding is very elementary). Therefore I am wanting to create an English version of the book, so we can all enjoy learning of our wonderful ancestry.

I realize it has been some time since anyone posted a new thread to these messages, but I am hoping someone out there can be of assistance.

With sincere regards,
Jo-Ann Brown (neé Hupé)
