I am a descendant of Samuel Turner Fagan who came to Deport, TX, after the Civil War. He also had a son named Samuel Turner Fagan who became a rancher in the Texas Panhandle. I have lots of information on that family going back to Bedford Fagan who immigrated to NC from Ireland in the 1700s with brothers, Enoch and Stephen. I will be pleased to share that information with you if you will send me your e-mail address and tell me how you are connected to Samuel Turner Fagan.

Hi Anne - my grandfather is Bruce Doyle Fagan, your grandfather's brother. I'm also researching the family and am looking for any and all information and/or records. Please feel free to contact me directly - I just was emailing Susie this morning...

I look forward to hearing from you.

I am not totally sure of my connection to Samuel. I do know that I am related to Bedford. But The Bedford I am searching for is from North Carolina (No idea what part) but he came from N. Carolina, at least for a short while, with brother James to Stoddard county, Mo. No one knows what became of Bedford here. The year I show Bedford married in Stoddard county is 1893 to Belle Gipson. Possibly I have the wrong Bedford. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Clutching at straws here but I have 2, possibly 3 Fagan (or Fegan) sisters who married DOYLE brothers. I wonder if there is a connection here..? The family I am researching may have come from Warrenpoint, Newry or Rostrevoir in Co Down Ireland. They raised families in the Coatbridge area of Glasgow in Scotland.
Hope you are able to help me.

Just read your posting on Sam T. Fagan and am hoping you are still checking this board. I am the grandson of Enoch W. Fagan, b. 28 Aug 1903 in Stratford, Sherman Co, TX, last son of Samuel T. Fagan, Jr, b. 17 Nov 1863 in Alabama?, husband of Mary Lee Jackson, b. 1871 in Tupelo, MS? Sam T. Fagan and Mary Lee Jackson were married in Blossom, Lamar Co, TX in 1884. I know there is a Deport,TX connection, but not sure of the details. Would appreciate any information you may have. Thank you, Jim

Hi Terann 189. Yes, I am still interested in Sam T. Fagan, as he is my great, great grandfather. Enoch was my grandfather and Denny is my uncle. I haven't heard from him since we served together in Vietnam. Would love to hear more from you. Jim
