Sorry i dont BUT they may have originated from the u.k or Ireland because i was recently in Ireland and found out that during a potato famine 20 odd Carabines went accross the Atlantic To America around the 1840's

Dear Maggie , I don't think this is the same Patrick . My Patrick who I always thought was born In Ireland was born in Liverpool, England. There was a Patrick who came over on a ship about 1850 and was 16yrs old. Maybe you could look this up on ships records. Thanks for replying and if you find that we have the same Patrick please let me know.

Hi Maggie, I was wondering if this Patrick that was a GGUncle is my Patrick . This Patrick was from Liverpool or so the info goes. His parents were Anthony and Margaret Carabine. They could have been from Ireland. I was on a web site for Liverpool and they had no record for this family. Patrick moved to Massachusetts married a Jeanette Knowlton they had three sons that survied. One was Arthur , John and George, who was my grandfather. After the first son was born they moved to Connecticut. Patrick years later moved to Philadelphia. Does any of this sound familiar ?
Eliazbeth is my daughter but you can reach me at my email address which is redhead5511@msn.com
