I am researching the line of Solomon and Sophia Beechem Williams. In the Hardeman Co. Tn. history book Sophia came from England with her parents. Solomon Lafatette was N/A from Williamsville in Neshoba Co. His sons Walter Washington and Thomas Lafayette were born there in the 1870s. Any help would be much appreciated!! I HAVE HIT A BRICK WALL. sOLOMON WAS BORN IN THE 1840S.

I am interested in a Williams line in Neshoba. Trying to connect a Williams DNA match to a different surname during the same time period.
Question re: Solomon. Is he related to the line from Sevier, TN?

This is an old post, but I am a DNA match of some of Sophia's descendants; you can find her name as Sarah and Sophronia also. She is undoubtedly the grand-daughter of Louis BEAUCHAMP and Mary Ann HOLLIDAY. Mary Ann's father was my ancestor, John M. HOLLIDAY 1761-1849 of Hardeman County TN. This is corroborated by numerous shared cousins. Not sure where the England story came from. I can carry these lines back to VA, NC, and GA for several more generations. Some say Solomon parents were Richard WILLIAMS and Lucinda. I doubt this also, but don't have any evidence to back it up, other than I believe their Lafayette turned out to be a Marcus Lafayette rather than a Solomon Lafayette.
