Does anyone have a copy of a will or obit.,or know where one can be located, for Daniel Predmore III? I need to make the final connection of Daniel Predmore III and Mary Ellen Predmore who married Daniel Britton Ross. We assume that she is his daughter, but you know what those first 3 letters of assume mean. They lived next door to each other in the 1850 census.

Also seeking info on parents of Daniel Britton Ross born abt 1804 possibably in Scotland.

My line is Daniel Esq., Daniel Jr., Daniel III, and Mary Ellen m. Daniel Britton Ross.
Also looking for parents and siblings of Daniel Britton Ross. Of all the Rosses in Sussex Co., you would think that somebody would claim him, but can't find a thing. Besides his own son, Daniel Britton Ross Jr., two of Mary Ellen's sisters ( Sarah Elizabeth Predmore Tillotson and Catherine Ursala Predmore Utter)each named a son Daniel Britton. It must have gotten really confusing when Daniel Ross Sr. married sister-in-law Srah Elizabeth. There were 3 Daniel Brittons under one roof!!!

Hi My name is Ellen Locker. Please contact me regarding the above family. I am trying to complete their information. All I have at this time is their names and Mary Ellen's birth date of 1808. Her parents were Daniel H. and Rachel Wood both born 1782.

My email address is ellenlocker@cox.net. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance for your time and effort in this matter.

Sincerely yours, Ellen Locker of Rhode Island

I live in the historic house of Lavinia Utter Berry whose second husband was B.F. (Benjamin Franklin) Predmore, in Sparta NJ.

Do you or your husband know anything about the house? I'm trying to trace its history.

Town historical documents show that Mrs. B.F. Predmore managed the boarding house as The Sunset Cottage in 1905. The house took overflow guests from the Everitt House.

When was the house originally built? Was the original land bought from George B. Beatty? The hearth room has brick noggin walls which might suggest the house is older than the 1865 dates in the architectural survey. But it is not listed in 1865 Hopkins Map.

One of the first school houses was said to be a log structure on Thomas Beatty's land. Is this connected.

Thanks for any help, Tara
