I'd like to get obits for the following people if someone has the means to look these up.

Bertha Elizabeth TAYLOR nee KINCH - Bertha was b. 16 Dec 1910 Lowell, MA to Lawrence KINCH & wife Edna Maude FAIRBROTHER.

Bertha married first to Arthur J. HOWE in Pawtucket, RI. They had 5 children, 3 of whom were still living on the 1940 census: Beverley b. 1932, Joan b. 1935 & Janet b. 1937 all in Pawtucket.

After Arthur, Bertha next married Gilbert G. TAYLOR. Unknown if Gilbert & Bertha had any children.

Gilbert & Bertha lived in Pawtucket, RI eventually moving to Swansea where they lived out the remainder of their years.

Bertha died in Mar 1991 in Swansea, MA.

Gilbert was the son of Frank Earl TAYLOR and Melvina FOURNIER. He was b. 31 Oct 1919 in Pawtucket, RI and died in Swansea, MA on 16 Nov 1995.

Can anyone get these obits for me?

Thanks in advance.

I tried the Boston Globe but no luck there. You could try the Swansea Library most towns have local newspapers on file. You have the dates which is a big help. The death certificate may have the info you are looking for. You can contact the city clerk for that info. Most ciy/towns have websites that have contact info for services.

Thanks for the reply & looking in the Boston Globe.

Neither the Globe nor any paper that would serve Swansea would be available to me as I'm not from the southeastern MA area.

My limited genealogy budget also doesn't allow for me to indulge in the luxary of a subscription to one of the sites that carries archived & historic newspapers hence my obit request in the hopes that someone local to Swansea, MA area or who does have one of those subscriptions might be able to locate obits for these two individuals.

DCs, unfortunately, aren't an option as the deaths are too recent and therefore, only available to direct descendants.

And, it's through obits that I'm hoping to determine if the daughters of Bertha by her first marriage made it to adulthood & may possibly still be alive.

If they are, they might be mentioned in both Gilbert's & Bertha's obits if obits had been published for one or both of them.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply & look in the Globe. I'll keep my fingers crossed that someone will be able to locate the requested obits for me.
