Virginia B. "Ginny" Jones, 79, of Parkton, Md.,
died at 10:35 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, Md.
She was the wife of the late Wilmer T. Jones.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom.
Burial will be in Jessop United Methodist Cemetery in Sparks, Md .
Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Jones was born Dec. 4, 1920, in Parkton, Md .
She was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Evelyn Mae (Garrett) Hoover.
She was an assembly worker at Black and Decker Manufacturing Co. in Hampstead, Md., and Towson, Md.,
retiring in 1981 after 36 years of service. She was a member of Parke Memorial United Methodist Church in Parkton, Md.,
where she was a volunteer at the church suppers; she was a member of American Association of Retired Persons.
Mrs. Jones is survived by a daughter, Mae Reichert of Phoenix, Md.;
two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Rowland of Baltimore.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Mariam B. Ephraim.
