Generations of my family are buried in the Lawson Cemetary. I plan to go there to visit this summer. My mother's cousin Carter Lawson still lives there. My grandfather, George Lawson married Mattie Wallen. Any one that can help me with the history please e mail me.

We may have a match. I had him b. abt 1811 and thought he may be a son of David. Do you know where he died. I have Sharp's Cem. Campbell Co. Tn. Is this the same as what you have. I had not thought of McNeil although i did not know the correct spelling. Who were her parents? This gives me more to go on. Thanks this has been a brickwall for me for a long time.

In the Lee Co, VA chat room I saw a query re Stokley Lawson. I have a printout from the Broderbund CD which lists his father as Moorman Lawson, mother only "Mrs. Lawson".
