HI JO, I have Dr. William Flake in my line.
He was the son of william ( abt. 1768) who was
the son of Samuel and Abagail. They had 5

Hi , do you know of a Dr. Jeff Flake , was 33
years old in 1860 and was from GA. I'm looking for information on his mother
Mary flake who he was living with in 1860 , she was 52 and I believe
Elizabette that is listed at age 23 is Dr. Jeff
Flake's wife . Mrs Mary Flake remarried to a Nathaniel Coker at age
44 in Monroe co. AL. she was also from GA. Looking for Coker
info as well as this family . Thanks Deb

I noted in your message the name Dr. Benjamin Flake.

I have been searching for years for relatives of
Richard B. Flake, Born ca 1786, and I have thought
that the "B" may be Benjamin. I know that he was not
a doctor as he was listed on the census as a carriage-
maker. My thoughts are that he may be a son or name-
sake of the Dr. Benjamin Flake. He had a son, Thomas B.
Flake (my gr grandfather) who named a son Benjamin.

I would like your views on this and who knows, we may
be cousins.

I have been reading your postings and wanted
to get in touch with you.
First, Dr. Benjamin Flake is the son of
Dr.William Flake who's father was William
Flake who was the son of Samuel and Sarah
I visited the Pooles Mill Cemetary recently
and did see Thomas V. Flake's grave. I took
a photo of each of the Flake graves. I did
not find out about the reunion until 4/9 or
I would have attented.
Am I correct in thinking that you live near
Lexington? I live just north of Columbia. I
would very much like to talk with you ; maybe,
our Flake lines cross.
Will you please e-mail me back and give me
your regular e-mail address and your telephone
listing. Or you can call me at 803-337-3456.
Thanks, Bill Flake

Bill/Leona: I read the message you left for Leona. My husband is Edward Flake, Jr. Son of the deceased Sr. who is buried at Poole's Mill along with his brothers Festus and Millard. We lived in Columbia for about a year, and have been to Poole's Mill many times. We would love any information you may have on any of the SC Flakes, including yourself. Please e-mail us when you receive this message. Trish Flake

Hi Trish,
Glad to hear from you. where do you live now?
My Flake line is as follows:
Samuel(abt.1701), William, Thomas, Augustus,
Albert G., Thomas W., Walter.
Lots of folks have been trying to tie in the
SC Flake famlies to old Samuel but I don't
know of it being done yet.
I have about 1000 descendants of Samuel's
that connect with my line. I would be happy
to share any of the info with you. It would
be easier for me if you e-mail me directly at
