I am looking for members of the Clock family who served in the 3rd York Militia during the War of 1812. I am looking for Conrad, David, Jacob, and John Clock.

This militia was mustered mostly from the Town of York (Toronto) and the townships to the east. I have document transcripts and service records for the men who served in this regiment. I am looking for their family histories.

I can be contacted at warof1812cdnstories@gmail.com

Thank you, there was lots of information on this family at this site! Jacob's and John's payrolls noted that they had both surrendered to the Americans after the surrender of York on April 27, 1813 in order to obtain paroles. They both received 3 months extra militia duty. Possibly this was when they were locked up.
