I'm trying to fill in gaps in my tree while waiting for other records to arrive. These specific censuses will help with those gaps. I've tried different spellings and wildcards. I don't know what else to do. I HAVE all other census records for families mentioned, all I need are the records asked for.

I found Frank & Vincenza in the 1935 RI Census...

Yes, the country of birth is wrong as PA & Conn are not countries...but look at the address - 60 Webster St.

Now, look at the 1940 Census for Frank & Vincenza; they're living at 60 Webster St and in the 1940 Census they were asking people where they were living in April 1935, and they state "same house", i.e. 60 Webster St, Pawtucket.

Looks like possibly (?) that Frank & Vincenza had a boy who died as a baby - Stanley Bogdan born 1916 - died March 13, 1916 in Central Falls, RI, as I found a RI Death & Burial record for him. ??

MAYBE they were in Central Falls in 1920???

The Bogdan's at the top of your list are the only ones I had time to look for that morning. I did look for Bogdan's in 1920 last night - nothing so far. In 1910 they were in Central Falls. And IF that RI Death and Burial record for that Stanley Bogdan baby that died in 1916 is theirs, then they were still in Central Falls as late as 1916.

I checked City Directories for a clue as to where they may have been during the 1918-1921 time frame, nothing yet. I found them in City Directories for other time frames, but not the 1920 time frame...

Is 'Bogdan' a shortened version of something else, like 'Bogdanowiz' or something and they could therefore maybe be listed in 1920 under their original Polish surname?

More later, I'm off to work,

Thank you for continuing to look. To the best of my knowledge Bogdan is the full name. In all the records I have its the only name. Of course I haven't found Franks naturalization records yet, just references that he WAS naturalized so I cant be 100% sure.

Surnames: Bogdan
Hi, saw your post yesterday (for the first time-I am a new member). I was taken somewhat aback as Frank and Vincenta Bogdan are my grandparents. Billie Bogdan is my dad, Frances Bogdan my mom. Bogdan is the correct writing of our name. I have an older brother (William) and a younger sister (Nancy). Feel free to email any family questions you may have regarding my side of the Bogdan family.
