One of the daughters of Frank and Antonia Janousek, Tilda Janousek, married my Uncle, William A. Liska. They and Frank and Antonia are buried at the Champion Valley Cemetery near Yuba, Wisconsin. I have pictures of the grave stones of William and Tilda, and Frank and Antonia. I have obituaries of William and Tilda and Antonia. If you would like,I can send them via email. I am looking for the ship that Frank and Antonia came to the USA on.

Your email address kept getting kicked back.

I can either mail you a xerox of Uncle Bill's obituary, or send you a MS Word document.

I do not have Frank's obituary, but I will check with someone who
does a lot of Vernon County genealogy to see if he ever found one.

I have still to find when Frank and Antonia came to
the USA, looking for their boat.

I do have a series of plat maps showing the Janousek and other Vernon
County family farms over several periods of time. Are you interested
in them.

When I first saw the plat maps, it really made sense to who married
who. The Liska, Janousek and Dvorak farms did or nearly did touch each

Jeanette Dvorak was my fifth grade teacher at Peterson School when we
lived in Wisconsin.

Sorry about the email address--I tried it also and it was kicked out, too. I noticed that there were 2 slashes before my address that shouldn't be there. Maybe just type it in.

Jeanette Dvorak is my second cousin--I believe.

The ship info is as follows.
District of New York Port of New York
Date of arrival was May 16, 1882
Number 626
Vessel was Salier

We need to get our e-mail going I have alot of info that I can share with you.
