Surnames: Cady Alter Embody Palmer

My great grandfather's sister, Myrtle Mabel Embody, married into the Cady family in Iowa - while trying to find her mother after 1900 I have figured out the following:

Myrtle Mable Embody, born 19 October 1882 married Charles Cady on 5 December 1899 in Polk County, Iowa - she was 17 and he was 24. On the 1900 census they are listed as the daughter and son-in-law of A.A. Palmer - Head of household at 1337 Fremont Street, Polk County, Des Moines, IA. (Note: Annie Hines Embody Palmer lived in the house prior to her marriage to Alexander Palmer on 13 Dec. 1899.) While searching for Annie/Anna and AA/Alexander Palmer in 1910, I came across the family of Charles Cady and Synthia along with 2 sons listed on the same page as the Palmer's former residence on Fremont Street. (Their street might have been Buchanan... ) Myrtle's husband, Charles Cady was born in June of 1875 according to the census - and he worked as a coal miner. I believe Myrtle may have died in 1905 as there is a Myrtle Cady listed as having been buried on 1 June 1905 in Woodland Cemetery, in Des Moines. (see bottom for other Cady burial date listings...)

So, I checked into the family of Charles Cady and found the following:

Charles and Synthia are on the 1910 Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa census in District 147 along with 2 sons.

Here is another mystery: Also listed with Charles and Myrtle Cady on the 1900 census is a Laura Cady born Jan 1890 in Iowa age 10. But she cannot be the child of either Charles or Myrtle due to her birth date. I am not sure if she is the daughter of Alexander Palmer, possibly Charles Cady - provided he became a father at 15 or an illegitimate daughter of Annie Embody Palmer. The ages are listed from oldest to youngest and I am not sure if the listing for Laura Cady is correct so any help would be greatly appreciated!

If anyone lives in the Des Moines area I sure would appreciate any info on the Myrtle Cady buried in Woodland Cemetery.

Hopes this helps someone.

I went back and checked the 1910 census for Charles and Synthia Cady. They are listed in Polk County, Des Moines Township, District 147 on page 22 of 35 if you are using Ancestry's census pages.

Charles Cady age 74 married 44 years born OH father born OH Mother born PA
Synthia age 64 married 44 years born IA father born Indiana mother - indecipherable.
Charles B age 33 single born IA father OH mother IN
Clark H age 31" "

Now I am pretty sure it is Charles B. Cady's wife Myrtle who is buried in Woodland Cemetery ....
