I have a lot of media information on Albert Bacon Fall. My grandmother claimed that he was a cousin. I have not been able to make a connection. Our family has always claimed him. My problem has been that I was never able to find parents for him. My great grandfather was Henry Alexander Cameron Fall.

Albert Bacon Fall seems to be someone claimed by lots of Falls. My grandmother insisted he was a first cousin to her father, Henry Alexander Fall. Since I can not find any parents listed anywhere for Albert , I haven't proven or disproven this. Henry Alexander Cameron Fall was born 8 November 1846 in Boleskine, Inverneshire, Scotland. I don't find your grandfather's name in my records. But we will eventually. Do you know where he was born or his parents names?

Indeed this man is mysterious...but looks like a lot of the Fall name is mysterious. I'm sorry I can't help you. My grandpa was Ora Alva Fall from around KC,MO and he is a dead end. We'll keep on searching...

I am also related to Albert Fall. I am trying to find the exact connection. Albert Fall's family came form England in the late 1700's. A good book to read is "The Teapot Dome Scandal" It has alot of info on that branch of the Fall Family.

I replied to Jo's message info regarding a book called the "Teapot Dome Scandal" You may find it interesting. I also have a copy of the "Memoirs of Albert B Fall". They were published by David Stratton. According to these papers James Slater Fall came from England with two sons, Philip and William. Philip was Albert Fall's grandfather. His father was William Ware Robertson Fall. The story goes on and on.

Thank you so much. This is the information I needed to lay to rest the family legend of him being a cousin to my great grandfather. I am a real stickler about proving connections.

You are welcome. I do have other Fall lines maybe there are connections we are not aware of. I am looking for a Samuel Fall. I know he purchased land in Mineral Point WI., and at some time he lived in Richland Center WI. (1850-1860) but so far I cannot find him in any census records or cemetary records. Any ideas?
