Linda I have Sandersons in the St. Joseph/Branch County area. My husband is a descendant of a Joel Sanderson who married a Mary Ann Legg. Joel was one of large family that was originally from Vermont. Let me know if this sounds like your Sandersons. Susan

Hi, Carole,

I am working on the Levi Wagner line from St. Joseph Co. It appears to me that, for the most part, all the Wagner families, especially around Colon are related. What Wagner families are you researching?

Hi Linda,
I'm working on Wallace H. WAGNER and his wife, Mary Theresa STALEY / STAILEY. Yes, the family seems to be comming from the same area in PA over a number of years to Colon, St. Joseph Co., MI. I'm not a WAGNER myself, but a Wagner cousin asked me to do the research as I live within an hours drive. Many still live in the area including one of my cousins. Wallace's Bible had a lot of obits, wedding anoicements ect. which I'm putting on the site as I have time. I need someone in the Jackson Co., MI or St. Joseph area that will teach me how to scan.

Do you already have these names: Joel Anderson (26 Dec. 1816- ) Brookfield, VT, married Mary Ann Legg (11 Aug 1816-15 Aug 1865) Mary Ann was born in Chisleborough, England, Marriage took place 7 Aug 1842 in Huron, OH.

Children: George (1843); James (1845); Wilber (1847); Sarah
(1848);Rebecca (1850) my Grandmother Evaline (1853); Asenath (1855): Charlotte (1857). Evaline married Aaron Parham and eventually they lived in Burr Oak, MI, St. Joseph Country. I have a very touching account of Aaron's death (his buggy was hit at a railroad crossing). Do you want names of offspring? Any other information I might have?

I've tried to check my records to see if we've been in touch. Mary Ann Legg and Joel Sanderson were my
great grandparents. My grandmother, Evaline Sanderson Parham, wrote a very touching tribute to Nancy Legg, Mary's mother. It was sent to me when I was quite young. Would you be interested in what she had to say?

Do you know who Mary Ann Legg's father was? Names, dates of other Sanderson/Legg ancestors?

I just discovered this "old" message. I have information regarding the Sandersons and Parhams (Indiana and Michigan)--Are these the families you're interested in?
