Mrs Anne Heiar, the advanced in years wife of J.P. Heiar in Richland Township died 11th July at 11 p.m. after an illness of three months, administered with the last rites. She was born in the neigborhood of Tetes des Morts. May she rest in peace. Our condolence to the mourning family

Mrs Theo. Groß died last week in the house of her son in law J.P. Heirer. The solemn funeral took place of Friday, departing from the St. Donatus church. Present were Reverends Bies from Bellevue, Nueben from St. Donatus and Dupont from St. Catherine. Deceased, who was born in Beringen, Mersch, Luxembourg, and who came to America in her young years, was 80 years old.

Correspondence: Dear Mr. Gonner. On November 5th a terrible prairie fire raged south of White Lake, SD, and where Luxembourg families came to harm. Even two married men lost their lives. One of them named Anton Arens is leaving a mourning widow with two small children, the other one, Nik Wolff, leaves a mourning widow and three underage children. Both victims originate from either Dubuque or Jackson Co., Iowa, and were buried on November 7th amid a large attendance of the community.

Chicago...... First mass in orphanage of High Ridge. On Wednesday, June 25th, the feast day of St. Aloysius is celebrated in a solemn way in the German Catholic orphanage. This year it is very special as, on that same day Mr Theo. Groß, who was raised in the orphanage, will celebrate his First Mass in the orphanage’s chapel

Also we have a couple of death dates that we can't find obits for. Would you be able to find them.

Margaretha Arensdorf d.15 July 1873. She is wife of the Dominic above.
John Peter Arensdorf d. 25 June 1890. This is a son of Dominic & Margareth. He is also my great grandfather.

We have found another listing in "Luxembourgers in the New World" for Margaretha HEIAR 25.04.1905 p5.
