Searching for ELIZABETH PHIPPS' husband.
She is Head-of-household in the 1830 Census of ALLEN CO., KY. with children (b. between 1805 and 1819). She migrated to LACLEDE and PULASKI CO., MO. by 1840. Her children were:
CHARLES KING PHIPPS, WILLIAM PHIPPS, WILLIS PHIPPS, SALLY PHIPPS, MARY "Polly" PHIPPS, and NANCY FRANCES PHIPPS. Any suggestions where to go from here?!?!

Hi, Earl! All I know is that Elizabeth was born in 1785 in N.C. She is listed in several census as head of household or living with her son, Charles (from census taken years later in MO. where she migrated with her son (and dates taken from a death probate in that state). PHIPPS would have been her married name. I am still looking to the PHIPPS she married. Please tell me more of your PHIPPS family in N.C. Maybe we can find some connections!! One son, Charles K. PHIPPS was born in TN. And another son, William PHIPPS was married in SUMNER CO.,TN.
I am aware of a William PHIPPS that migrated from Craven County, N.C. to Sumner County, TN. in 1797. But, I cannot make any connection because of dates and insufficient information about this family. E-mail me if you like at summitacademy@home.com

Could this be the same Elizabeth Phipps that married Ez Young? She was born in Grayson, Va, on the NC border, daughter of Benj Phipps. Eliz and Ez had one daughter, Marticia Young, who married John V. Brown.

I am answering my own question, but I don't think this is the same Elizabeth. Our Eliz lived at one time with her grandson, Rush Brown, my grandfather in Va, until he moved to Ohio. Eliz came to visit once, but no one heard of her since, just thought she might of visited relitives in another state, and stayed their until her death. We cannot find any death record of her in Va or NC.
