I hope you are still on Ancestry :) Looks like you are related to my husband Steve Taylor
His Mother was Edith Scheetz, parents Ruth Barr and Charles Scheetz.
Charles parents were Herman Lewis Scheetz and Carrie Anne Treida :)
I have some research on them so far but haven't found anyone with photos of the Scheetz children of Herman and Carrie. I did find numerous newspaper articles. Two days ago I found a few boxes of photos belonging to my in-laws who have since passed away. Unless of course you are my sister in-law under the account she couldn't remember what it was to log back in lol.
Hoping to hear from you.
Ruth

Ruth, your SHEETZ tree is hidden, so don't know how far you've traced this family, with your many yrs of research. I'm not related. Do you have Herman's parents? And, the SHEETZ Germany location? Is there a connection to MO?

But, I also have it in my main tree under Schonder-2019

It's a good thing I read your other tree. I don't want to overstep, but think you've made an error.
On his death cert Herman's parents are listed as Frederick SCHEETZ/Frederica ROSER. Also keep in mind parental info on death cert not always correct.
On a death cert for a male relative the informant listed his 1st wife as his mom!

The Frederica ROSER SHEETZ you have listed [b 1839 d MI] is not yours.
2-21-1867 Baden-Wuert., Luise ROSER b 3-4-1839 d/o Johannes/Katherina married Wilhelm HARTMAN.!!!
It is doubtful Fred was only 10 when dau born.

1910 Fred's gpa, Frederick ROSER 81 is living with him . He was b 5-4-1829 ; d 9-16-1915 Phila; bur Mt Moriah Cem; immigrated 6- 1904 Baltimore age 75, b Mendelsheim; going to dau Wilhelmina SCH---- 2838 Oakdale St, Phila.
When he arrived he was examined by Dr and judged senile. He was a cooper by trade. Since he was alone, I'm assuming his wife d. in Germany
Wilhelmine's name ....writing was terrible...could be SCHEETZ, but not sure

Also living at the Phila. address
Name: Chrs Treida
Residence Year: 1905
Street address: 2838 Oakdale
Residence Place: Philadelphia , Pennsylvania, USA
Occupation: Motorman
Publication Title: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, City Directory, 1905

I was curious as to why the original poster posted on the MO board.
