My family has the Family Bible of George D. Lane and Catherine Holcomb Lane. George was born 1806, died 1889. They had four children: Margaret, Henrietta, Enos, and Caroline. Margaret married Joseph Chauncy Hart, Jr., who was my gggfather. Any help?

Feel certain this George Lane is related. They came
to Warren from Washington County PA and so did my
line of Lanes. Also both a buried in old cementary
on Mahoning Avenue. I have no George on my list as
yet. I have my lineage traced back to Henry Lane
born 1735. He supposedly had about 10 children, although
I only have six or seven listed. George must be one
of the missing children.
Thanks for your information. Will keep it on file.

I have Lucy Ann Holcomb who married Ozro Nathan Lane in 1850 in Trumbull Co., OH as part of my family history. Could we possibly be related?

I have a George Lane born 1806 who married Caroline Holcomb born 1809. Their children were Margaret, Henrietta, Enos and Caroline born during 1829-1844. Margaret was my ancestor, and married Joseph Chauncy Hart, Jr. They moved from Connecticut to Trumbull OH in 1857.

I am also a descendant of Henry Lane. I have 12 children listed for him, Asa, Annie (m. Samuel Phillips and Robert Kerr), Polly Lane (m. Peter Shepler), Teny Lane (m. John McLean), Effie Lane (m. Isaac Dailey), Hannah Lane (m. William Rutan), a daughter [no name known], Henry Jr., Benjamin (m. Hannah Jane Cook), Catherine Lane (m. Jonathan Church and John Tait), John (m. Mary Caldwell).

How does that list compare to your list? According to History of Trumbull Co, there was a small daughter of Henry (b. 1735) that was killed by Indians. That is the daughter with no name listed. Since the females I have were all married, there must have been another girl, though I have not been able to find a name for her yet.

Catherine Lane and Jonathan Church are my gggGrandparents.

I am seeking any additions or corrections to this information. Was Henry Lane married to Mary Jones? Or Mary Campbell? Does anyone know? Do you know where Jonathan Church came from before he went to Trumbull Co, Ohio? Was he married before? When was he born? Where did he die? Do you know where he is buried? Our family legend has it that he died about 1814 in the War of 1812.

I would love to hear from you or anyone related to Henry Lane or Jonathan Church.

I am looking for Samuel Lane of Trumbull Cty. He was born in 1791 and died in Wisconsin on October 27, 1879. He is a veteran of the War of 1812, member of the Ohio Militia. Any help would be appreciated. His daughter, Mary, married Alexander McFarlin of the same county.

My ggg-grandfather was James Dailey, born in Trumbull Co., in 1801. His son, Robert Kerr (or Karr) Dailey was my gg-grandfather. Do we have a connection?
