Funeral services for Charles
R. Arthur, 80, of 32 E. Merrill
Ave., who died Wednesday,
will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday
at Candlish Chapel.
The Rev. Ralph C. Gross will
officiate, and burial will be
in Estabrooks C e m e t e r y .
Visitation will be from 4 to
9 p.m. today at the funeral
chapel.
He was born June 17, 1896,
in the Town of Lamartine, a
son of the late Minor and Barbara
Ziegler Arthur. He married
Isabel Seibold on Oct. 21,
1919, in the -city and resided
here since that time and
employed by the Fred Rueping
Leather Co.
Mr. Arthur is survived by
a son, Charles of Los Angeles,
Calif.; a daughter, Mrs.
Jacquelyn Bowers of Los
Angeles, Calif.; eight grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren;
a brother. Minor of
Route 2; and two sisters, Mrs.
Walter (Hyacinth) Meka of
Milwaukee and Mrs. Wilhel
mina Scrima of Waukesha.
He was preceded in death
by his wife, a daughter, son,
six sisters and two brothers.

Charles Arthur is my grandfather.

My mother changed my name when I was a toddler. I changed it back legally here in Australia, Sept 2017.
