I am searching for more information on Barbara ART, b. 5 Nov 1861 in Tscherwenka, Hungary. They were Germa-speaking people.
She married Adam GROSSART.

While researching my Turner line I have found that my Ggrandfather, Alexander - married Euphemia Grossart(b.1881)in Scotland about 1900. I believe Euphemia had a sister Helen b.1872, and another sibling Jessie b.1879. The area would be near Edinburgh, more specifically Liberton. If this sounds like it might lead us somewhere - drop me a note. I'm close to Toronto, Ontario. bye for now.

I too have a Grossart! Ebenezer Grossart married my gt.aunt, Annie Slater in 1896 in Newington, Edinburgh. They then moved to the Borders, Selikirk and Roxburghshire. Ebenezer was an employee of the railway company. As yet I've no further info on him, so if he ties in with yours, please let me know.

Sincerely,

Harry Wright
