I am trying to locate some Pinson ancestors that might have lived in Neshoba county and then moved to Newton County. I have the Newton Co. Cemetery book and have heard that there is a Neshoba Co. book and would like to know where I could purchase one.

Surnames: Butler, Harrison, DeHay, Worsham, Moore

My GGrandparents James L. and Martha (Harrison) DeHay migrated from S.C. to Neshoba Co. Ms. around 1850-51. Their oldest daughter Sarah Jane DeHay and her husband J.J. Butler and their children migrated with the DeHays to Ms. As did Zachariah Andrew DeHay and wife Rebecca McDonald. Don't know what relation James and Zachariah were, but I'm sure they were related. James was born 1797 in Union Co. S.C. and Zachariah was born 1838 in Union Co. S.C. Joseph Butler was born 1820 and Sarah Jane was born 1822 in S.C. Their son Harrison Bailey Butler married Sarah Jane Worsham in Ms. She was the daughter of William "Bill' and Harriet (Moore) Worsham. If any of these Butlers or Harrisons connect with your family, e-mail me at anita930@webtv.net

Anita, I believe Harrison was either my great-great grandmothers (Sarah Iva Algie Butler) brother or uncle. If you have any information on her I would love to hear fom you.
