There is a Walls family in Jackson County, OH (I am descendant of Barbara Walls and John Canter) but if you're looking for a George Walls who may have come from the VA/MD area in the late 1700's then check the records for Frederick County, Virginia (Winchester). That George Walls was an officer in the Revolutionary War and prominent in the affairs of Frederick County following that conflict. Having received bounty lands, most of the family scattered and moved westward around the turn of the 19th Cent. I believe most of that George's descendants ended up in KY and TN.

We're still not sure where the Jackson County Walls family came from, but it is said they are descended from Levi and Levin Walls, and some of that family lived in Ross County. I'm still searching for Peggy Walls, purported to be a daughter of Levin and connected to the Neff family.

Hello,
Levi Walls lived in Delaware and Levi Walls Jr was born in Delaware. They then moved to Pike Co. Ohio where they lived for many years. The Walls family was one of the first families of Pike Co. Ohio.

Levi Walls Jr is my GGGrandfather. His daughter Matilda was my GGrandmother.
