I noted your posting. During my research on the Hezekiah Frith family I found that Catherine H Moffat Richardson wife of Capt Hezekiah Frith Jr. died at age 22 in Inagua. This is the most southerly island of the Bahamas. The Frith's were probably there for the salt exports. Further, in my research of Lewis Grant Tucker I noted that he maried a Sophia Richardson. Her family were located in Demerara British Guyana.

The merchant traders sailed from Demerara (Essquibo) in the south up to Inagua and the Turks and Caicos for the salt trade and then took their cargoes to Bermuda and on up to Halifax Nova Scotia and St. John's Newfoundland ports.

So I would suggest that you check out Demerara.

In my Bermuda Index book I note that Edwin B. Darrell, formerly of Warwick, Bermuda, married miss Sarah B. Richardson, 3rd daughter of James Richardson of Hamilton on October 24 at Inagua.

March 9, 1857 E B Darrell, birth of a daughter in Mathew Town, Inagua. This entry is followed by Edwina Sargeant Darrell, aged 4 days, daughter of E B and Sarah Darrell, died in Mathew Town Inagua on March 13, 1857

July 22, 1858, E B Darrell of Inagua, birth of a daughter in Hamilton, Bermuda

Much later, February 6, 1882, Annie Eleanor Wood Darrell, eldest daughter of Edwin B and Sarah B. Darrell of Bermuda married Frederick W. Arnim of New York.

Nathaniel R. Darrell, aged 27, only son of Edwin and S B Darrell, died of pneumonia in New York on November 3, 1886.

September 28, 1892 Edwin Darrell, aged 70, died at Turtle Bay, Warwick This is the last entry I found

If you want me to check out the James Richardson side let me know. I am sure you will enjoy the above. Bermuda is a difficult place to research so I decided to be a Good Samaritan to you today. I am descended from the Tucker, Frith and Harvey families of Bermuda.

Thank you for those details Joan (assuming you may get to read this 9 years later!)
If anyone on this thread is still interested in Sarah B DARRELL nee RICHARDSON's ancestry, check out my blog filtered for Bermuda
and for Sarah's father's page on my webpages

My interest is in exploring a connection to my RICHARDSONs of Morebattle, where Sarah's father James came from.
Also interested in who the other surviving daughter of James and Mary (MOFFATT) RICHARDSON was, as when Mary died, she was listed as being survived by 3 daughters and 9 grandchildren.
Catherine H Moffatt FRITH nee RICHARDSON had died.
Martha Aitchison KEENEY nee RICHARDSON was probably still alive (in Alabama in 1870).
Sarah DARRELL nee RICHARDSON was still alive.
Susannah Cox RICHARDSON died young, as did a sister Mary.
There are sufficient birth gaps for a third surviving daughter to fit.
