John Henry Caddy, the son of William Caddy is the ancestor of my husbands family my husband was named after him. Michael Caddy, a descendant of his came to Australia and settled in Ballarat where he continued his family extensions. I would be very much interested in your Family tree of those two gentlemen you have listed. Love to hear from you. Luisa

If you check the Caddy mailing list archives on Rootsweb, there is an entry for a large family tree of Caddys.

You and I have corresponded before, but somehow I missed this board listing the family tree. I am still looking for the birth or baptism of my 4xgreat grandfather John CADDY who was born about 1764 and died in 1849. June Ross, who is also descended from him thought that he was born in Crowan to Samuel and Elizabeth CADDY. How much bonifide data do you have because this is a real find! I have most of John's descendents (including some illegitimate grandchildren) and June has done much to find the rest. I am so impressed! Please e-mail me and let me know.
Warmest regards,
Elizabeth Marcheschi

When were they married and where? My Samuel Caddy's first wife Louisa (nee' Rowe) apparently died c 1880 in Pennsylvania where they lived. He had young children so it is possible he may have remarried.

Hi Kathy,
Do you have any Samuel Caddy's on your tree born in the early 1800's (I'm guessing on birthday, as they have a daughter born 1826) ?

I have a Samuel Caddy, who I THINK was married to an Ann Trenawden. I'm not 100% sure on that, but it's the only marriage in St. Hilary records that seems to fit.

Any information you can offer would be very helpful.
