I found a reference in an old Mayfeild church apprenticeship register that makes mention in the year 1628 Aug 1st.
“ John Spickornell , b.a. to Sallomon Wenboorne , blacksmith for 5 pound premium.”
Does anyone have any records of Sallomon the blacksmith?
