Lookng for any information on Ragans who immigrated from Ireland in the mid 1800s and settled in Franklin County, Ohio (Columbus area). My grandmother's father -- a Ragan -- was a brickmason and died when he fell off the Deshler Hotel in Columbus when it was being built around 1880. This was just a few weeks before my grandmother was born , and her mother gave her to another family to raise since she already had a number of children. The only sibling I know of was Helen Ragan. who later married Allan Tuffin and lived in California. We're trying to trace the Ragan line.

I live in Ohio my last name is Ragan I've been trying to trace my family name. My grandfather was a John Ragan I know they came from Ireland and that's all I know so far.
