Unfortunately, I'm STILL looking for information on my family!! I do have some concrete information, and I was hoping someone might be able to fill in the gaps for me. As it stands right now, I'm desperately trying to place the name of my great-great grandfather. Here's what I know!

My father's parents:
mother: Ruth Berger, b. 30 Dec 1918, New Jersey
father: Cornelius Limey, b. 16 Mar 1913. d. 13 Dec 1983.

Cornelius's parents:
mother: Jennie Hoek, b. 02 May 1881 in New Jersey. d. 25 Dec 1967 in New Jersey.
father: John Limey, b. 08 Jun 1880 in New Jersey. d. 12 Jul 1927 in New Jersey.

John's parents:
mother: Jennie ?, b. Oct 1843 (according to the 1900 NJ Census, 1834 according to the 1910 NJ Census)
buried in NJ 24 Jun 1919, if the cemetery record I have is actually her.
father: ???

My records indicate that Jennie, her husband? and possibly son Peter immigrated to the US in 1870 (again, according to the 1900 Census). Peter was b. in Holland in Jun of 1863.

Any information you might have - or direction - would be greatly appreciated!!

Jan ~

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can't tell you how much your help means to me! Your links are broken, however - do you happen to have links I use to find the rest of my family?

So much of my family comes from Ouddorp - I would really like to go visit someday.

Thank you again. :)

Stacey

My records indicate that Jennie, her husband? and possibly son Peter immigrated to the US in 1870 (again, according to the 1900 Census). Peter was b. in Holland in Jun of 1863. That is correct, Jan and Jennie (Jannetje Laauwe) were my gg grandparents.
Would love to share what information I have with you.

Hello Stacey,

I found a Pieter Luime born on July 28, 1863 in Ouddorp, The Netherlands

His father was Jan Luime and his mother was Jannetje Laauwe.

Pieter had a brother named Cornelis, born on October 19, 1865 in Ouddorp, The Netherlands.
But Cornelis Luime died on October 31, 1865 in Ouddorp.

Jan Luime, his wife and Pieter left Holland to North-America on November 25, 1865.

I hope this is the Pieter you are searching for.
