Just for information..from Richland County, Wisconsin History, Chapter 29, part 2: George H. Strang was born in Janesville, Rock Co., Wis., Sept. 7, 1850. He is a son of Isaac and Elizabeth (Spoon) Strang. In 1854 the family removed to Sauk Co. (Wisc.) and engaged in farming. In 1883 the parents EMIGRATED TO CHARLES CITY, IOWA, where they now reside (about 1900). Could this be any of the Iowa Strangs that you are seeking?

I am also doing research on your family line. My ggaunt Emma Phinette Gilman was married to Robert Strang and was the mother of James Winant Strang who is the father of George E. Strang. I would love to exchange any information you might have.
