There are many many Brickey families. Can you post your parents, and grandparents if known. There are also several books on Brickey's. Maiden names of women are important because of the many common names in this family.

Read your message and suspect that you are the Grandson or son of George, Lee or Cecil Baber. They were children of my Aunt Finnetta (Brickey) Baber. My Dad was Wiley Brickey. I grew up in Banner, VA. If you are a decendant of Lee Baber, then we are double couisins. He married my mother's sister.

My mother's name was Sarah Winifred Brickey. Her father's family was from the Louisville/Lexington area of Kentucky. However, I've had no luck in any of my searches there.

Her father's name was John William Brickey and his mother's name was Winifred. That's about all I know of them, and my older realatives are all dead, so I have no one to ask.

Have you check the censuses of that area for them?
You begin with the 1920 census (1930 comes out next
year) then you go back to the 1910, etc.
