Hello,
I still have no gotten the hang of finding records.

My 3rd Great-Grandparents, Victorine Parmentier and Emile Dehoux had the following children in Belgium:

Emile Dehoux
Birth 1 SEP 1880 • Belgium

Bertha Dehoux
Birth 25 AUG 1884 • Belgium

Amelia Dehoux
Birth 30 JUL 1886 • Belgium

My second great-grandmother Mamie Dehoux was born in the US after these three. Her husband was born in Belgium, Arthur Jules George. I can attach his birth cert that someone on here was so kind to find for me.

Any pointers on how to find these three and siblings of Arthur George?

Are you looking for the records of the siblings of Arthur George? Have Names? or are you looking for the birth records for the three children above,
You can check the 10 year alaphabetical tables here, look for last name George, write down the record number, birth year, and see if they are Children of Seraphine Joseph Geroge and Therese Delval. Tables on right side of the page.
For the Dehoux children you have listed just go the the birth records for the year they were born. Do you know where in Belgium the children were born?.

Ashlei,

For Arthur George, according to the birth certificate, he was born in Marchienne-au-Pont in the Belgian province of Hainaut on 1881-07-14 (the certificate itself was filled out on the 15th). A digital copy of the birth certificate is available online from the Belgian State Archives.

https://search.arch.be/en/zoeken-naar-archieven/zoekresultaa...

To access the online archives, you will need to register (free) via https://search.arch.be/en/login/registration.

According to the birth certificate, the parents of Arthur George are cited as Séraphin Joseph George (age 33, chauffeur/driver) and Marie Thérese Delval (no age cited).

I checked the 10 year table of marriages for Marchienne-au-Pont but unfortunately there was no record of their marriage between 1851 and 1880, so they must have been married somewhere else.

In terms of the Dehoux children, do you have any idea where they were born? The way the Belgian archives are organised is by municipality, so without knowing where, you are at the mercy of having the records indexed by name (which I also checked but with no results).

Sorry that I wasn't able to find more for you, but I hope this helps.

I was able to find a death certificate for Séraphin Joseph George. He died 1900-05-01 in Marchienne-au-Pont, is cited as age 51 and 11 months, and born in Marchienne-au-Pont the son of Jean Joseph George and Marie Josèphe Badoux, and husband of Marie Thérèse Delval.

The listing in the ten year table of deaths is available at https://search.arch.be/en/zoeken-naar-archieven/zoekresultaa....

For some reason the Belgian State Archives death record images stop in 1897 but I was able to find the death certificate at FamilySearch.org (register for a free account).

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9Q97-Y999-G6X?cc=213... (record #146)

I didn't try to find his birth certificate online, but you should be able to find it within the Belgian State Archives (and maybe also the death, marriage, and birth certificates of his parents). Note that the Belgian State Archives has parochial record images online for births, marriages, and deaths prior to 1800.

Hope this helps.

This is the index for 1881-1890, now just go to the year, find the record number and see if they are really his siblings by checking the parents names.

This is Marchienne-au-Pont index

You should talk to Margaret, you have the same Dehoux ancestors.
