My father, Capt. William H. Hamley, was Commanding Officer of this Evacuation Hosp.at Camp Greenleaf, Georgia. I have names on many of the men being treated and later sent on to Arizona to another hospital. I also have names of officers serving there, like LT. Royden J. Swanson, 2nd Lt. Chas. A. Woffes, 2nd Lt. Albert J. Paquin, 2nd Lt. Nettles Chapman, these were in Administration. In surgical, to name a few, are Capt. Mark Goldstine, Lt. Emory Parke,Paul Hunter, Wenzel Gaylor.and many more. Anyquestions ask me. The info I have is in a scrapbook if interested.

Mabel,
By any chance did your father make any note of the band company that was there? My grandfather, Samuel Ford was a SFC and at some point was at Camp Greenleaf.
Thanks, Brenda

Brenda, Sorry, I looked at the roster of the 200 men in the picture taken at Camp greenleaf, GA which is dated Dec.07, 1918 and no Samuel Ford on the list. The picture is dated Dec. 03, 1918. Wish there had been.

thank you Mabel.
I do have a picture of the band from a Chattanooga newspaper (no date) as they were parading through the street heading toward a train to take them to Camp Gordon.
I appreciate your checking.

Can you let me know if you have any more information on Mark Goldstine. I believe this is a great-uncle of mine.
